Because art allows us to imagine, create and do.
Art is all-encompassing form interwoven into our very existence, into every aspect of our lives; from the clothes we wear, the buildings we live in, the music we listen to and the books we read. It is all around us. It is everything we do.
Without art, we are not human. The ability to imagine and take that imagination and make it into a reality is one of the things that are really distinctive about us as humans.
Whether it is painting, building aeroplanes, or figuring out how to make a paycheck last to the end of the month, it all stems from the same creative capacity. And there is no better way to flex that creativity muscle than to do art, be exposed to art and to think about art. — Augustin Fuentes
